Last month, members of our creative team touched down on la Isla del Encanto for 48 hours of work and play. Summer ‘24 was inspired by European seaside locales, but we stayed closer to home to showcase our latest creations. An easy flight from NYC, Puerto Rico was the perfect location to combine a whirlwind photoshoot and creative retreat in preparation for big things to come. Read on for glimpses of our shared photo album and a behind-the-scenes look at our lifestyle shoot.
“ I designed the original St. Barths Tote with beach holidays in mind. and Summer '24 is about embracing wanderlust and finding your feet in the sand. Puerto Rico brought us back to our roots as a beach brand.”
Day One:
We made the island our muse as we brought our vision of an island holiday to life. Scouting shoot locations around the property became a treasure hunt for colors and textures–shells in the sand, lush plant life, and palm shadows that perfectly echoed the fringe of our Havana collection. After choosing wardrobe, a symphony of coquis serenaded us from the trees on our walk to dinner.

Day Two:
With three locations on the agenda, our shoot began just after sunrise. We captured the dreamy morning light on the beach, dodging hermit crab-encrusted rocks and tide pools full of life. Shots around the hotel grounds were followed by a trip into Viejo San Juan to explore and take advantage of the town’s colorful backdrops, where the Summer Collection felt right at home.
Stormy weather put a damper on our plans in town, but you can’t rain on our parade. We ducked into the historic Hotel El Convento to take refuge on the covered patio. Tucked away from souvenir shops and tour groups, the deluge afforded us a few moments of respite after our early morning call time. When the storm showed no signs of slowing, we took some beautiful shots under cover, then called it a wrap.
