About Us
OUR STORY
Our founder Sara Naghedi conceived her eponymous line NAGHEDI in 2015 after nearly two decades in the accessories industry. Tired of watching handbags go out of style every few months, she set out to produce a timeless and durable collection of seasonless favorites. While working with a neoprene sample, inspiration struck, and the first ever line of woven neoprene bags was born. A year of meticulous design and development later, NAGHEDI officially launched in 2016.
MEET SARA
Inspired by both past and future generations, Sara aspires to counter the wastefulness of seasonal fashion. With that in mind, her signature handwoven neoprene totes are purposefully designed to be stylish and versatile enough to transcend trends. Instant classics, NAGHEDI bags are meant to be worn for the life you live.
Sara lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
A BAG TO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD...

...AND A BAG TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT
As a brand, NAGHEDI strives for ethical and environmentally sustainable practices.
We utilize state-of-the-art fabrics that are durable and easily cared for, so you can continue to carry your NAGHEDI bag for years to come.
Slow fashion is at the very heart of the NAGHEDI’s entire design process and is integral to the line’s production.
Our bags are individually handwoven, and our skilled weavers produce only one or two bags each day.
We continually look to expand our manufacturing relationships and explore ways to produce truly sustainable products, such as using recycled and reclaimed neoprene.
